A versatile graphic designer and illustrator based in Enfield, with an innovative and friendly approach to delivering creative results in any medium.
A client focused strategic thinker with a passion for illustration, branding, graphic design and communication who knows how to balance creativity with a budget.
I have spent many years working in the creative industry, both freelance and employed, in a variety of roles with Creative Design, Illustration, Artwork, Client Liaison and Photography being the most prominent. This has led to involvement in the implementation of wide ranging commercial projects covering branding, packaging, audiovisual, illustration and photography at their core. Most recently this has been in the RC sector.
Professional Background
A diverse background covering not for profit organisations, charities and the commercial sector providing all aspects of creative support. Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to work in some outstanding studios including those of Fitch, Wolff Olins and Springetts but many less well-known studios too, producing work in various specialist areas. This eclectic background has instilled in me, flexibility, broad knowledge, an understanding of the production process, organisation and perceptive skills like balancing creativity with that ever important deadline. In recent years I have become much more deeply involved with projects in the RC industry, something that harks back to my early formative years illustrating aircraft and car design. This has involved the creation of branding, product packaging, logos, promotional and advertising material, exhibition graphics and even product design and development on occasion. It has also brought to the fore my aviation art skills and as a result you will see here many classic aircraft illustrations and digital paintings.
Technical Skills
Expertise in most industry standard software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Indesign and Xpress. Additional skills include writing in its various forms, be it copy for a web site or more specialist creative writing and research has always been a key asset.
